Melvin House is a beautiful Victorian town house hotel just minutes from Princes Street, in Edinburgh's West End. Victorian charm and grand architecture greet you the minute you walk up the entrance steps and walk through the elaborate wooden archway and take sight of the fabulous marble stairway. The hotel also boasts one of Edinburgh's finest private libraries. Directions

If coming from Waverley Station we recommend a taxi as it will take about five minutes and cost around 4-6 GBP. If coming from the airport, the regular Service 100 airport bus will take you to the West End of Princes Street, about five minutes walk away from us.From the West End, walk up Queensferry Street for about five minutes and turn left onto Drumsheugh Gardens. Melvin House is at the far corner of the Gardens.
